In 2024, further regulatory developments included new food product registration and advertising rules issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources. Additionally, a memorandum of understanding was signed to expand crop and seed protection technologies in the region, and consumer confidence in local Omani products continued to grow, supported by new consumer financing regulations.
