During this period, the government implemented measures to improve seed quality and distributed agricultural inputs, while high-level strategic meetings with international institutions sought to modernize the sector and support production levels.

A strong recovery followed in 2023, with output reaching 15 261 tons. This surge was supported by intensified agricultural campaigns and enhanced monitoring in key producing regions like Kankan, focusing on yield improvements and modernized practices. The legislative framework established by the 2021 Agricultural Orientation Law also provided a foundation for this growth.
