Australia's casein production declined for the second year in a row. In 2021, the country produced 9 291 tonnes of casein, representing a 4.0% decrease from the previous year. The highest production level was recorded in 2019 at 10 109 tonnes, which saw a 6.9% increase. The largest decline occurred in 2020, with a drop of 4.2%.

Exports casein from Australia

Australia's casein exports grew for the second consecutive year. In 2021, the country exported 67.0 tonnes of casein, marking a 38.0% year-over-year increase.
