The market volume for these fresh or chilled products fluctuated over the period from 2018 to 2023, starting at 19 679 tons and ending at 23 187 tons, indicating overall growth despite some annual variations.

After a decline to 16 777 tons in 2019, the market recovered to 17 429 tons in 2020 before dipping again to 17 008 tons in 2021. A significant expansion followed in 2022, with the market reaching 21 267 tons, and further growth to 23 187 tons in 2023. Armenia's production of carrots and turnips increased after a two-year decline. In 2019, production reached its lowest point at 13,170 tonnes, but then rose by 4.1% to 13,709 tonnes in 2020. Over the period from 2017 to 2020, production decreased by 27.3%, which translates to an average annual decline of 10.1%. The most significant drop occurred in 2019, with a 21.0% decrease.
