Central Asia's apricot production has grown for the second year in a row. In 2020, the region produced 700.4 thousand tons of apricots, which is 1.8% higher than in 2019. Over the period from 2017 to 2020, production increased by 5.8%, with an average annual growth rate of 1.9%. The lowest production level was recorded in 2018 at 634.1 thousand tons, marking a decline of 4.2% that year. In contrast, 2019 saw the largest increase, with production rising by 8.5%.
