By 2024, consumer preferences shifted towards eco-friendly frames made from natural, raw wood, aligning with minimalist and rustic interior trends. Demand grew for handcrafted, custom-made mirror frames in the premium segment, and glamour styles combining luxury and decorativeness gained popularity.

Over the 2017-2020 period, production increased by 11.6%, with a compound annual growth rate of 3.7%. The largest annual increase occurred in 2018, when production rose by 22.9%.

Poland's exports of wooden frames declined for the third consecutive year. In 2020, exports totaled 26 949 tonnes, representing a 10.4% decrease compared to 2019. Over the 2017-2020 period, exports fell by 14.2%, which translates to an annualized decline rate of 5.0%.

From 2017 to 2020, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States were the primary markets for Poland's wooden frame exports in volume terms. Germany accounted for 27.7% of exports, the United Kingdom for 13.1%, and the United States for 9.8%. Together, these three countries represented 50.5% of total export flows.

Poland's wooden frame exports declined for the second year in a row. In 2020, exports amounted to 74 721 thousand US dollars, showing a modest decrease of 8.1% from 2019. Over the 2017-2020 period, exports increased by 3.9%, with a compound annual growth rate of 1.3%. The highest value was recorded in 2018 at 84 654 thousand US dollars, which also saw the largest annual increase of 17.8%.

Between 2017 and 2020, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States remained the top destinations for Poland's wooden frame exports in value terms. Germany held a 29.6% share, the United Kingdom 11.4%, and the United States 10.0%. Collectively, these three markets accounted for 51.0% of total export value.

In 2019, import volume peaked at 3 794 tonnes, but by 2020, it had dropped to 3 203 tonnes, reflecting a 15.6% year-over-year decrease. Over the 2017-2020 period, imports increased by 53.8%, with a compound annual growth rate of 15.4%. The largest annual increase occurred in 2019, when imports rose by 41.5%.
