The market volume for coniferous veneer sheets in Poland declined significantly from over 33,800 cubic meters in 2018 to just over 8,000 cubic meters in 2024. This indicates periods of higher unit values, particularly around 2022, even as volumes continued their downward trend. By 2024, the market value had decreased to approximately 17,700 thousand US dollars.

The latter part of the period saw developments in the broader wood-based panels industry in Poland. Local plywood producers invested in modernizing their machinery parks to enable more flexible production. There was also noted growth in the production of veneered plywood, which combines durability with aesthetics, and an increased consumer interest in ecological and durable wood-based materials.

The peak volume was in 2018 at 26 167 cubic meters. The largest decline occurred in 2019 at 27.2%, while the largest increase was a modest 0.1% in 2018.
