After starting at 14 972 thousand units in 2018, the Polish passenger car tyre market declined over the next two years, hitting a low of 12 506 thousand units in 2020. A rebound in 2021 brought the volume to 14 634 thousand units, but slight declines followed in 2022 and 2023. The market then surged in 2024 to 16 945 thousand units, marking the highest level in the period.

In 2022, winter tyres held the largest share of sales at 43.9%, while average prices rose across all segments, most notably for summer tyres with a 24.5% increase. Consumer brand preferences leaned toward Westlake for summer tyres, Bridgestone for winter tyres, and Goodride for all-season tyres.

Overall, the market demonstrated a recovery from the 2020 low, with the 2024 volume representing a 13% increase over the 2018 level.
