Exports tufted textile floor coverings from Hungary

In 2019, exports hit their lowest point at 1 368 thousand square meters, with the largest decline of 16.9% recorded that year. By 2021, exports had rebounded to 1 676 thousand square meters, marking a significant 20.5% increase compared to the previous year.

From 2018 to 2021, Germany, Romania, and Slovakia were the top destinations for Hungary's tufted textile floor coverings exports by volume. In 2019, the largest drop of 27.6% was recorded, and exports reached their lowest point in 2020 at 18 973 thousand US dollars. From 2018 to 2021, the Netherlands, Poland, and Turkey were the main suppliers of tufted textile floor coverings to Hungary by volume.
