A recovery followed in 2021, with the market reaching 22 698 t as deliveries of table and kitchenware sets increased, indicating segment development. The subsequent two years saw a sharp contraction, with the market falling to 13 353 t by 2023.

In 2024, the market rebounded to 18 344 t, buoyed by EU-funded investment plans (KPO) that stimulated steel demand and by strong demand from the home appliance and construction industries. Concurrently, competition from plastic household articles grew, driven by their functionality and aesthetic appeal.
