Major producers like PT Heinz ABC Indonesia and PT Multi Sari Sedap strengthened their production capacities and distribution networks, supporting a recovery in supply. During this period, regulatory attention remained high, exemplified by a 2022 recall of ABC brand soy sauce in Singapore due to non-compliant allergen labeling, which reinforced the focus on export market compliance.

Evolving consumer preferences for halal-certified, healthier, and sustainably packaged products prompted ongoing innovation from manufacturers.
