A notable increase of 3% occurred in 2019, followed by a slight stabilization in 2020. Production then jumped by 4.7% in 2021, surpassing 7.6 million tonnes. After remaining nearly flat in 2022, the market volume decreased by about 2% in 2023. The market was entirely supplied by domestic production throughout this period, with import and export activities being minimal.
