Earlier Report Observations

From 2018, the Polish plastics plumbing fixtures market expanded due to rising construction investments and infrastructure modernization, which boosted demand. Growth continued in 2019, supported by infrastructure projects and tighter EU labeling rules that forced producers to adapt their products. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted supply chains, but government support for the construction sector helped stabilize the market, leaving its size nearly unchanged.

A sharp 47% surge to 312 million USD occurred in 2021, driven by the introduction of new EU-aligned product labeling requirements that stimulated product renewal, alongside the entry of new local manufacturers offering innovative and eco-friendly solutions. A continued boom in construction investments, particularly in housing, further fueled demand. However, the market contracted by 18% to 258 million USD in 2022 as further tightening of EU energy efficiency and environmental regulations raised producer costs, compounded by persistent global supply chain issues and rising raw material prices.

Market volume declined by a further 13% to 223 million USD in 2023, followed by a recovery and 16% growth to 259 million USD in 2024.
