In value terms, the market grew from $110.8 million to $138.7 million, indicating sustained demand over the period despite annual variations in trade and production.

Domestic production experienced a mid-period dip but recovered to 30,716 tonnes by 2024. Import volumes saw significant growth, reaching a peak in 2021 before moderating, while exports contracted sharply after 2022, falling to 7,072 tonnes in 2023 and altering the trade balance.

Monetary values for imports escalated notably, with spending reaching $153.7 million in 2022, reflecting higher costs or volumes. By 2024, both import and export values had receded from these peaks, contributing to a stabilized market value environment alongside the overall volume growth.
