Over the period from 2017 to 2020, production grew by 24.1%, which translates to an average annual rate of 7.5%. The most significant year-on-year increase occurred in 2018, with a jump of 37.4%.

CIS pineapple juice exports declined for the second year in a row. In 2020, exports totaled 482 K l, showing a moderate 7.1% drop compared to 2019. From 2017 to 2020, exports decreased by 2.2%, averaging an annual decline of 0.8%. The highest export volume was recorded in 2018 at 782 K l. That same year saw the largest increase of 58.6%, while the most significant decline occurred in 2019 with a 33.7% reduction.

Between 2017 and 2020, Ukraine, Georgia, and China were the primary destinations for CIS pineapple juice exports in volume terms. Ukraine accounted for 10.1% of exports, Georgia for 5.4%, and China for 2.3%, together making up 17.9% of total export volumes.

Over the 2017-2020 period, export value grew by 40.9%, with an average annual growth rate of 12.1%. The largest increase was recorded in 2018 at 30.8%, while the most significant decline occurred in 2019 with an 8.6% drop.

Over the 2017-2020 period, import volumes grew by 34%, averaging an annual increase of 10.2%. The largest year-on-year rise was in 2018, with a 38.8% jump.
