Iran's pear production grew for the second year in a row. In 2020, the country produced 107.8 K t of pears, a slight year-on-year increase of 1.0%. Over the 2017-2020 period, production rose by 15.2%, with a compound annual growth rate of 4.8%. The lowest output was in 2018 at 92.3 K t, which saw the largest decline of 1.4%. The biggest increase occurred in 2019, with a jump of 15.7%.
