Stricter regulatory focus on controlling aflatoxin contamination helped align production with international standards, facilitating market access. This period also saw the entry of new groundnut oil processing factories and a sustained shift in domestic consumer preferences towards healthier snacking options, which provided additional impetus for market expansion.
