Following two consecutive years of growth, Nigeria's copra production volume experienced a decline. In 2020, production reached 14 845 tonnes, representing a 13.0% decrease compared to 2019. Over the 2017-2020 period, overall production fell by 2.3%, with a compound annual growth rate of 0.8%. The peak production level was recorded in 2019 at 17 058 tonnes, while the most significant year-over-year increase occurred in 2018 with an 11.9% rise.
