Namibia's non-coniferous roundwood production has grown for the third year in a row. In 2020, the country produced 2 015 K m³, marking a 9.4% increase from the previous year. Over the 2017-2020 period, production rose by 35.6%, with an average annual growth rate of 10.7%.

Exports hit their lowest point in 2018 at 13 148 m³, then surged to a peak of 70 180 m³ in 2020, representing a 5.3-fold difference between these extremes. In 2020 alone, Namibia exported 70 180 m³ of non-coniferous roundwood, a sharp 87.4% rise from the year before. From 2017 to 2020, South Africa, Israel, and Vietnam were the primary markets for Namibia's non-coniferous roundwood exports in volume terms. South Africa led with 53.1% of exports, followed by Israel at 18.7% and Vietnam at 11.2%. Together, these three countries accounted for 83.0% of total export flows.
