This decline was driven by a consistent reduction in domestic production, which fell from 7 417 m³ to 7 309 m³ over the same period, while imports were minimal or absent.

The trend reversed in 2022 when the market volume rose to 7 428 m³ and further increased to 7 688 m³ in 2023. This growth was entirely due to a rise in imports, which reached 153 m³ in 2022 and 447 m³ in 2023, offsetting the ongoing decline in local production.

In 2024, imports remained at a low level of 14 m³, though complete market volume data for the year is not yet available.
