Following a two-year decline, mushroom and truffle production in Western Europe rebounded in 2020. That year, output reached 507.0 thousand tonnes, marking a 9.1% increase from 2019. Production had previously hit its lowest point in 2019 at 464.7 thousand tonnes, which represented the largest annual decline of 5.5% during the period.
