In value terms, the swings were more pronounced. The production value rose from $165.1 million in 2018 to $220.2 million in 2020, despite lower physical output, suggesting higher unit prices. The domestic market's value peaked at $78.5 million in 2020 before dropping to $42.1 million in 2021. A strong rebound followed, with production value reaching $235.2 million and market value hitting $52.0 million in 2023.

For 2024, export volumes fell significantly to 65.9 thousand tonnes from 157.4 thousand tonnes the previous year. Cultural factors, such as the link between clementines and New Year celebrations among certain communities in Israel, influence seasonal demand patterns for these citrus fruits.
