The downturn continued into 2021, with the market dropping to 1 120 thousand tonnes. In 2022, global supply chain disruptions contributed to a further reduction to 1 060 thousand tonnes. A modest recovery began in 2023, as the market volume rose by 4.1% to reach 1 103 thousand tonnes.
