The market for fresh or chilled leguminous vegetables in Belarus expanded from 4.4 thousand tons in 2018 to 6.3 thousand tons in 2021. This growth was supported by initiatives to develop the vegetable growing industry, as domestic greenhouse production per capita was below target levels. Activation of supplies from farm households, with cultivation volumes planned according to domestic and export market needs, contributed to higher output.
