The market volume for in-shell almonds in Kyrgyzstan increased gradually from 1 670 t in 2018 to 1 799 t in 2021, then jumped to 2 339 t in 2022 before settling at 2 047 t in 2023.

Domestic production remained stable around 1 600–1 700 t throughout the period. The sharp rise in market size in 2022 was accompanied by a tenfold increase in imports, which reached 1 027 t, while exports also grew from negligible levels to 364 t.

After a two-year decline, in-shell almond production in Kyrgyzstan rebounded.
