The entry of a new player, Piedra, Canteras y Producción S.L., with its quarries in Extremadura, added production capacity. By 2024, the market rebounded to 1 063 thousand tonnes, fueled by technological advances in 3D cutting and sustained demand from commercial and public building investments.
