This expansion was supported by a substantial rise in imports, which more than doubled over the initial period and peaked in 2023. However, 2024 marked a reversal as total market volume declined by over 10%, falling to 443 thousand liters, driven by a noticeable reduction in import volumes.

Domestic production of gin and geneva grew dynamically during this period, multiplying several times from a modest base of 5.9 thousand liters in 2021 to 28 thousand liters in 2024. While exports also increased, their volume remained relatively small compared to the overall market size. The rising local output began to alter the supply structure, though imports continued to dominate market volume.

In monetary terms, the market value followed an upward trend, rising from 1.8 million dollars in 2021 to 2.8 million dollars in 2023. Despite the physical volume contraction in 2024, the market value stabilized at around 2.7 million dollars, indicating a shift in average prices or product composition within the segment.
