The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 disrupted global supply chains and shifted consumer preferences toward home cooking, increasing demand for frozen vegetables as a convenient and storable option. This trend continued into 2021, when a presidential decree redefining the country's economic regions likely improved the logistics and distribution networks for agricultural products, further facilitating market growth.

In 2022, high food inflation of 21% made frozen vegetables a more affordable choice for consumers, sustaining demand. Concurrently, reported increases in overall agricultural output and a 2.9% rise in retail trade turnover enhanced product availability and variety on the market, contributing to its continued expansion.
