Syria's forage products production increased for the second consecutive year. In 2020, the country produced 17 947 tonnes of forage products, marking a robust year-on-year growth of 16.1%. Over the 2017-2020 period, production rose by 51.6%, with a compound annual growth rate of 14.9%. The lowest production level was recorded in 2018 at 11 695 tonnes, which saw a slight decline of 1.2%. The largest increase occurred in 2019, with production surging by 32.2%.
