Oceania's fig exports declined for the second consecutive year. In 2020, exports reached 159 K $ US, a reduction of 22.9% compared to the previous year. Between 2017 and 2020, exports decreased by 3.3%, equivalent to an annualized rate of 1.1%. The highest value was recorded in 2018 at 248 K $ US, which also saw the largest increase of 51.1%.

Throughout 2017–2020, Turkey, Singapore, and Hong Kong formed the core of fig exports in value terms. Turkey contributed 29.4% of export value, Singapore 18.0%, and Hong Kong 15.8%. Collectively, these three markets accounted for 63.2% of total export flows.
