Earlier Report Observations

The fibreboard market in the Caribbean exhibited high volatility in volume between 2018 and 2023. After starting at 351.6 thousand cubic meters in 2018, the market size contracted sharply to 176.6 thousand cubic meters the following year. It then stabilized near 195 thousand cubic meters through 2020 and 2021 before surging to 295 thousand cubic meters in 2022. The period concluded with a reduction to 197.4 thousand cubic meters in 2023.

Domestic production remained unchanged at 85 thousand cubic meters annually throughout the entire six-year span.
