Between 2021 and 2023, the market continued to expand, reaching 21.0 million tonnes in size by 2023. Government policies focusing on food security and export promotion, along with support for local farmers through farm-to-table initiatives, stimulated domestic production. A significant rise in fresh vegetable exports further encouraged output, while consumer trends favoring fresh, local, and organic products sustained demand.
