The market for fresh or chilled edible brassicas in Belize experienced significant fluctuations in volume between 2018 and 2023. After starting at 1 471 t in 2018, consumption dropped to 1 216 t in 2019 and further to 1 115 t in 2020. A sharp rebound occurred in 2021, with the market expanding to 1 623 t, but it contracted again to 1 180 t in 2022 before reaching a new peak of 1 675 t in 2023.
