The industry's reorientation toward European standards in 2020 further supported production efficiency. In 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic altered consumer preferences and logistics, boosting demand for meat products including duck.

The full-scale war in 2022 caused a severe market contraction, with volume dropping by 26.8% to 16 524 t due to logistical disruptions, rising fuel costs, and the reorientation of processors toward the domestic market. By 2023, the market stabilized at 16 782 t as producers adapted to the new conditions, consumption remained at pre-war levels, and duck meat prices surged by 32%.

The largest decline of 85.4% was recorded in 2019, while the most significant increase of 127.5% occurred in 2018.

From 2017 to 2020, Vietnam (38.4% of export volume), Hong Kong (21.6%), and Azerbaijan (20.9%) consistently served as the primary destinations for Ukraine's duck meat and offal exports, together accounting for 80.9% of total shipments.
