Dried shelled pigeon pea production in Nepal increased for the second consecutive year. In 2020, Nepal produced 17 063 tonnes, up 3.2% from 2019. Over the 2017-2020 period, production grew by 3.4%, with a compound annual growth rate of 1.1%. The lowest production was recorded in 2018 at 16 211 tonnes, which also saw the largest decline of 1.7%.
