The Hungarian market for cellular PS plates, sheets, film, foil and strip displayed significant volatility from 2018 to 2024. Starting at 43.2 million dollars in 2018, it experienced a moderate dip in 2019 before recovering in 2020. The most notable movement occurred in 2021 and 2022, when market value skyrocketed, reaching 94.7 million dollars in 2022 – more than twice the 2020 level.

In 2021, the output was valued at 57 080 thousand US dollars, marking a significant gain of 42.4% compared to 2020. The lowest value was recorded in 2019 at 39 914 thousand US dollars, which also saw the largest decline of 3.8%.
