In 2020, output was valued at 699.1 million US dollars, showing a modest rise of 2.7% compared to 2019. However, over the broader 2017-2020 period, production value actually fell by 7.4%, with a compound annual growth rate of -2.5%. The lowest value was recorded in 2018 at 672.2 million US dollars, which also saw the steepest decline of 11.0%.

Following two years of growth, MENA's cauliflower and broccoli exports declined. In 2020, exports totaled 38.7 thousand tons, down 28.1% from the previous year. Despite this drop, exports increased by 36% overall between 2017 and 2020, averaging an annual growth rate of 10.8%. The peak was in 2019 with 53.8 thousand tons, and the largest annual increase occurred in 2018 at 48.7%.

From 2017 to 2020, Russia, Mauritania, and Armenia were the top destinations for MENA's cauliflower and broccoli exports in volume terms. Russia accounted for 12.1% of exports, Mauritania for 0.8%, and Armenia for 0.6%, together making up 13.6% of total export flows.
