Earlier Report Observations

The market for bran, sharps and residues from cereal processing in Jamaica experienced considerable volatility between 2018 and 2023. Volume expanded to 60 076 tonnes in 2019, then contracted sharply to 42 632 tonnes in 2020. A recovery followed, peaking at 60 589 tonnes in 2022 before easing to 56 656 tonnes in 2023.
