In the following years, the establishment of the #RDCeroResiduos platform for monitoring special wastes in 2022 and the Ministry of Environment's ongoing work on subsidiary regulations in 2023 reinforced the waste management infrastructure. These developments helped maintain production levels around 182-184 thousand tons after 2021, with the market volume stabilizing at 170 thousand tons in 2023 despite variations in export volumes.
