From 2018 to 2023, domestic production of fresh beans in Antigua and Barbuda showed moderate stability, moving from 102.3 t to 105.1 t with a high of 106.4 t in 2020. Import volumes, however, displayed greater volatility, starting at 27.4 t in 2018 and dropping notably to 14.3 t by 2021 before rising again in subsequent years.

The total market volume for fresh beans, derived from production and net imports, peaked at 130.7 t in 2019. It then entered a period of contraction, falling to 118.5 t in 2021. A rebound followed, bringing the market to 127.1 t in 2023, a level still below the pre-2020 high.
