After two consecutive years of decline, Cyprus's aubergine production rebounded in 2020. The country produced 1 340 tonnes of aubergines that year, marking an 8.9% increase compared to 2019. However, looking at the broader period from 2017 to 2020, overall production fell by 38.9%, with an average annual decline of 15.1%. The lowest production level was recorded in 2019 at 1 230 tonnes, which also saw the sharpest year-on-year drop of 28.1%.
