In value terms, the market mirrored this volatility, peaking at $87.8 million in 2019 and hitting a low of $45.4 million in 2022 before recovering to $58.6 million in 2023. Domestic production followed a similar pattern, with the highest output of 46 540 t in 2019 and the lowest of 26 360 t in 2022.

Throughout the period, exports consistently outweighed imports. Exports peaked at 6 358 t in 2021, while imports remained below 900 t annually, indicating the United States is a net exporter of apricots.
