The market for fresh apples, pears and quinces in Mexico experienced notable fluctuations between 2018 and 2023. In 2024, data indicated a further rise in imports, with major consuming states like Mexico City, Jalisco, and Sonora leading demand. Argentine exports to Mexico continued to grow, facilitated by an increasing number of authorized cold treatment facilities and strict inspections to prevent quarantine pests.
