By 2023, market volume moderated to 3.1 million tons, while its value rose to 1.7 billion USD, reflecting a shift toward higher-value products. Government support played a role, with a 2022 emergency ordinance introducing grant schemes for farm animal feed producers to cushion rising input costs. Consumer preferences increasingly favored premium, natural, and hypoallergenic feeds, prompting manufacturers to diversify, such as the launch of the Fresh Farm wet food factory in 2024.
