Over 2017–2020, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates clearly dominated the partner structure for imports in kind, while other countries together formed the remaining share.

Iraq's almond imports increased for the second consecutive year. In 2020, imports reached 62 380 thousand US dollars, equivalent to a 47.1% year-over-year uptick. Between 2017 and 2020, imports increased by 37.9%, equating to an annualized rate of 11.3%. The minimum value was recorded in 2018 at 38 498 thousand US dollars, when imports declined by 14.9%.
