However, in 2020, the market size contracted to 10 040 thousand USD, a drop of about 8%, as imports and exports fell further to their lowest points in the period.

From 2021 onward, trade flows rebounded strongly. Import value rose from 17 288 thousand USD in 2020 to 19 693 thousand USD in 2021 and continued climbing, reaching 39 582 thousand USD by 2025. Exports followed a similar trajectory, recovering from 16 912 thousand USD in 2020 to a peak of 27 516 thousand USD in 2024, before easing to 23 853 thousand USD in 2025. This period was marked by a substantial expansion in both international trade activities for these garments.

The lowest export volume was in 2019 at 471 tonnes, which experienced the steepest drop of 27.8%.

The lowest export value was recorded in 2020 at 16 912 thousand US dollars, while the largest decline occurred in 2019 at 13.0%.
