Serbia accounted for 18.3% of exports in kind, Bosnia and Herzegovina for 15.6%, and Germany for 10.5%, with these three countries together representing only 44.4% of total flows.

Over the 2017-2020 period, exports decreased by 37.7%, with a compound annual growth rate of 14.6%. The largest decline was recorded in 2018 at 31.8%, while the largest increase occurred in 2019 at 9.8%.

Over the 2017-2020 period, Germany, Poland, and China consistently held leading positions in Croatia's import structure in kind. Germany accounted for 23.7% of imports in kind, Poland for 17.7%, and China for 14.0%, with these three countries jointly accounting for 55.3% of total flows.
