This growth occurred alongside significant shifts in supply. Concurrently, exports fell from 5 929 tonnes to 4 130 tonnes, reinforcing the net material inflow and the domestic market's expansion.

In value terms, the market followed a similar pattern but with more pronounced growth, rising from US$37.0 million in 2018 to US$59.6 million in 2023. The increase in market value outpaced the volume growth, indicating shifts in product mix or price levels during these years.
