A recovery occurred in 2022, with market volume rising to 73 153 kg. This followed the implementation of a maximum retail price on essential items from October 2022, aimed at cushioning the impact of rising global raw material costs on imported food products. By 2023, the market stabilized at 72 655 kg, while new customs regulations clarified restrictions on certain imported goods.
