Recovery occurred in 2021, with market volume rising to 217.2 t, driven by trends towards healthy products and active digital marketing that increased interest in tea. In 2022, the market stabilized at 215.7 t, aided by a 9% growth in retail food sales and the launch of new products by local manufacturers such as Vispak, which introduced new tea flavors.

In subsequent years, the market continued to decline: to 210.8 t in 2023, followed by a sharp drop to 137.0 t in 2024, significantly reducing overall consumption volume.

In 2021, the country produced 188.6 tonnes, marking a 17.2% rise compared to the previous year. However, over the full period from 2018 to 2021, production decreased by 11.8%, with a compound annual growth rate of -4.1%. The lowest volume was recorded in 2020 at 160.9 tonnes, while the largest decline occurred in 2019 with a drop of 14.4%.

The maximum volume was reached in 2020 at 8 463 kg, which also saw the largest increase of 868.9%.
